Itinerary

Duration: 3 days (approximately)
    Day 1

    Mwanza-Ndabaka Gate-Western corridor Serengeti

  • Serengeti National Park (Pass by)

    Your safari begins at 06:00 with a pick-up from your hotel or Mwanza Airport. You drive to Ndabaka Gate, arriving around 07:30. After completing park formalities, you enter the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park and begin your game drive. This quieter side of the Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. Around 13:00 you enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot inside the park. In the afternoon you continue game viewing until approximately 17:30, when you arrive at your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

    Western Serengeti –Ngorongoro Crater

  • Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Pass by)

    After an early breakfast at 07:00, you depart the Western Serengeti at 08:00 and drive southeast through the park with continued game viewing along the way. You reach the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater around 12:30. After completing formalities, you descend into the crater floor for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of animals, including the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and flamingos. A picnic lunch is served inside the crater around 13:30. In the late afternoon, around 16:30, you ascend the rim and check in at your lodge or camp near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

    Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park - Mwanza

  • Serengeti National Park (Pass by)

    Following breakfast at 07:00, you leave Ngorongoro at 07:30 and drive back into Serengeti National Park for a final morning game drive across the open plains. This is an excellent opportunity for more wildlife sightings. Around 12:30 you stop for a picnic lunch before beginning the journey out of the park. You exit via the western side and continue to Mwanza, arriving in the late afternoon around 17:00. You are dropped off at your hotel or the airport, bringing your memorable three-day safari to a close.
