3Ošljak
Ošljak is the smallest inhabited island in Croatia, a protected forest park with no cars, ideal for escaping the crowds, walking around the island (2 km), and swimming in clean bays. Visit the lighthouse, the ruins of a 16th-century windmill, the 6th-century Church of St. Jerome, and enjoy the view from the top (89 m). What to visit and interesting facts about Ošljak: Walking path around the island: A maintained 2 km long path takes you through a pine forest along the sea, ideal for a light walk. 4Preko
The old parts of the town abound in typical Dalmatian architecture, narrow stone streets, and old country houses of Zadar noble families. The beautiful sandy Jaz beach is the main beach in Preko, proudly flying the Blue Flag, a symbol of clean sea and a well-maintained beach.
