Experience life on a real working farm at Woodstone with this 90-minute hosted tour. Get up close with friendly animals and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on visit guided by a local farmer.
Feed and interact with the animals, then watch live demonstrations including sheep shearing and working dog mustering, while learning how the farm runs day to day. Take a break with while soaking in the surroundings of vineyards, lavender fields, and seasonal blooms.
At select times of year, your visit can also include access to the maize or sunflower maze, adding something extra to your day.

Guests will enjoy a 90-minute hosted experience at Woodstone Farm, where they’ll step into the heart of authentic rural life. During the tour, visitors can meet and hand-feed friendly farm animals, watch skilled sheep shearing in action, and experience impressive working dog demonstrations that showcase the true spirit of a New Zealand working farm. From 1st September, guests will also have the unique opportunity to try milking a cow and meet the farm’s largest bull for an unforgettable photo opportunity. During lambing season, visitors can enjoy the special experience of bottle-feeding lambs a guest favourite and a memorable hands-on farm activity for all ages! Surrounded by picturesque vineyards and beautiful seasonal gardens, visitors can relax, take in the stunning scenery, and enjoy a genuine farm experience that’s both interactive and memorable.
