Travel to Saas Fee and spend the afternoon exploring the town at your own pace.

Day 2
Hike to Weissmies Hut

Meet your guide and the rest of the group and take a bus ride to Saas Grund. After taking a gondola to Kreuzboden, we will hike to Weissmies Hut where we can enjoy lunch. From there we continue to Hohsaas where after a short break we will hike the 4,000 Meter Peaks Trail. Afterwards a gondola and a bus will take us back to our hotel. Total hiking time: 3.5 - 4 hours Distance: 5.9 km / 2.3 mi Ascent: 820 m / 2,690 ft Descent: 90 m / 300 ft

Day 3
Panoramic Hike Almageller Alp

After taking a bus and chair lift to Furgstalden, we will hike the Saas Almagell Adventure Trail (includes two suspension bridges). Enjoy an early lunch at Almageller Alp before a panoramic hike to Kreuzboden via the adventure path from where a gondola and a bus will take us back to Saas Fee. There we will gather our things and take the bus and train to Zermatt. Total hiking time: 5 hours Distance: 10.4 km / 6.5 mi Ascent: 730 m / 2,400 ft Descent: 200 m / 660 ft

Day 4
Hike to Täsch Hut

After a train ride to Täsch we will start our hike to Täschalp and Täsch Hut. This is a rather long uphill hike but we can use the entire day to complete it. Total hiking time: 4 – 4.5 hours Distance: 7.2 km / 4.5 mi Ascent: 1,280 m / 4,200 ft Descent: 5 m / 20 ft

Day 5
Hike in Täsch and Zermatt

Hike from Täsch Hut to Täsch. In the afternoon we will take a gondola ride to Schwarzsee and you will get closer to the Matterhorn with a short hike. Total hiking time: 4 hours Distance: 9.2 km / 5.7 mi Ascent: 210 m / 690 ft Descent: 1,480 m / 4,860 ft

Day 6
Leave Zermatt

After breakfast, you have time to explore Zermatt and then continue to your next destination in Switzerland or return home.
