You will meet at the headquarters at Cherry Street Pier, the starting point of the festival initiative. From there, you will be guided through Philadelphia’s waterfront arts scene while engaging with the history of festivals and creative production in the city—exploring how community celebrations, public art, and grassroots cultural movements have shaped local identity over time. You will then move onward to experience public art, curated markets, and seasonal festivals, while gaining insight into the social and historical significance behind these spaces and traditions.
