This is not a standard walking tour of Ciqikou Old Town. Inspired by the officially authorized urban mystery novel The Lost Shangqing Temple, this experience turns Chongqing’s historic streets into an interactive cultural quest.
Meet your NPC local host characters, receive your mission, and follow story clues through selected locations inside Ciqikou. Along the way, you will complete light interactive tasks, discover hidden local stories, and experience the old town through a suspense-driven narrative rather than a traditional sightseeing route.
The experience also includes 7 classic Chongqing snacks, tea in a local courtyard, headset service, pop-up folk interactions such as Sichuan opera face-changing or long-spout teapot tea art, and exclusive cultural gifts including intangible heritage souvenirs and hand-drawn local artwork.

Meeting and pickup
Meet your guide at the Big Teapot Landmark at Ciqikou Back Street. Please note that this is not the main entrance of Ciqikou Ancient Town. You can take Metro Line 1 and get off at Ciqikou Station. Our staff will contact you at least one day before the tour to confirm all details.
