Take your seat among local Japanese theatergoers and enter the colorful world of Taishu Engeki. The program changes depending on the performance day, giving each show its own character and atmosphere. Enjoy expressive Japanese dance, spectacular kimono costumes, music, dramatic performances, and the remarkable energy of the actors from close to the stage. Photography is welcome during the performance, so you can capture your favorite moments. Even if you do not speak Japanese, the visual performances, costumes, music, and movement make the experience easy to enjoy across language barriers. After the show, the performers personally see guests off — a much-loved tradition of Taishu Engeki.
