Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed into a family courtyard with genuine hospitality, enjoying a glass of chilled tsikoudia, homemade lemonade, local cheese, and traditional rusks.
With a basket in hand, take a short stroll to the family’s organic garden. Immerse yourself in the aromas of wild herbs as you harvest your own fresh ingredients—including sun-drenched tomatoes, zucchinis, and eggplants—while learning about traditional cultivation methods and the health benefits of the island's native plants.
Return to the rustic courtyard, put on your apron, and gather around the kitchen counter for a hands-on cooking class. In this fun, social session, you will learn time-honored family secrets and techniques to prepare a complete, authentic Cretan menu from scratch.
