The adventure begins at Gidaki Beach, a crown jewel accessible only by sea. Its electric turquoise waters and white pebbles create a scene so vivid the boat seems to float in mid-air.
Next, we glide into Vathy, the island’s charming capital. Wander through narrow alleys lined with red-tiled neoclassical houses and see the tiny Lazaretto islet. It is the heart of Ionian hospitality, where time slows down by the peaceful waterfront.
We then reach Kioni, a stunning village hidden in a lush green cove. With flower-draped stone houses and ancient windmills, it is a living postcard and the ideal spot for a traditional lunch.
The journey ends at ammoudi beach. These rugged rocks and crystal depths offer a final, meditative swim, capturing the true, eternal spirit of the Ionian.
