Start with pickup from your hotel, apartment or port in Hvar Town, then a short panoramic drive to Napoleon's Fortress, 250 metres above the town, with views over Hvar Town, the Pakleni Islands and the Adriatic. Continue to the hilltop village of Brusje and a family-run estate, where you'll learn traditional methods of producing honey, olive oil and lavender, and taste four types of honey, local spirits and two extra virgin olive oils. The route follows the historic Napoleon Road past terraced lavender fields and dry stone walls to Velo Grablje, a 14th-century village, then Malo Grablje, abandoned in the 1960s, with its roofless stone houses and historic olive mill. The tour finishes in Stari Grad, one of Croatia's oldest towns, with a guided walk and a visit to Tvrdalj Castle, the Renaissance retreat of poet Petar Hektorovic. Then free time to wander, have a coffee by the sea, or eat at a family-run konoba.

Meeting and pickup
We pick you up directly at your accommodation or at the port in Hvar Town, Stari Grad, Jelsa or Vrboska, at a time agreed in advance. Your guide Tonči will be waiting outside the main entrance with a sign showing the lead traveller's name. You will receive his direct phone number and WhatsApp contact after booking, and he will message you the evening before to confirm the exact pickup time and location.
