What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Just outside the Central Ticket Gate (中央改札口) at Kintetsu Ikoma Station. Look for the guide holding a sign or our small group right after you exit the ticket gate.
This tour ends at Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park on top of Mt. Ikoma. You can take the cable car down to Ikoma Station at your own pace after the tour finishes. (Option available: If you prefer to return to the starting point with the guide, please request it at the time of booking or on the day.)

Meet just outside the Central Ticket Gate at Kintetsu Ikoma Station. Walk 3 minutes to Toriimae Station and board the retro cable car for a scenic 6-minute ride up the mountain. Enjoy the changing views as the city fades below and the forest surrounds you.

Monzen Town and Ikoma Shinchi Exploration. Wander the charming historic streets right beside the temple. These narrow stone-paved alleys, old shop fronts, and hidden stairways preserve the atmosphere of the old pilgrim town. A quiet and nostalgic area that feels like stepping back in time.

Hozanji Temple Visit Short walk from the station to the temple. Explore this historic spiritual site known for its deep connection to prosperity and everyday devotion. Walk along lantern-lined stone paths, enjoy the calming scent of incense, visit the main hall, and see the dramatic rock-carved inner sanctuary. Plenty of time for photos, prayer, and collecting a goshuin (temple stamp).

Ikoma Mountain Top & Sky Views Take the cable car up to the summit area and visit Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park. Enjoy panoramic views across Osaka Plain, including landmarks like Abeno Harukas and Mt. Rokko on clear days. The retro amusement park with its iconic “Flight Tower” adds a fun contrast to the spiritual atmosphere.
