After breakfast in the morning, you will depart from Nairobi and head to Amboseli National Park, which is known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival you will have lunch at your lodge, then embark on a game drive to explore the wonders of Amboseli. Observe large elephant herds grazing peacefully in the swamps or roaming the open plains against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a lodge.
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and journey through Kenya’s beautiful landscapes toward the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Naivasha in the afternoon and check in at The Pelican Lodge. After some relaxation, enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, fish eagles, and a variety of bird species. A visit to Crescent Island can be arranged for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, continue your journey to the legendary Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Ol Moran Tented Camp. Relax at camp before heading out for an unforgettable afternoon game drive through the vast savannah plains. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, and many other wildlife species that call the Mara home. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight. All members of the Big Five, that is lion, African leopard, African bush elephant, African buffalo, black and white rhinos, are found here all year round. Blue wildebeests, topi, plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles migrate into and occupy the Mara reserve, from the Serengeti plains to the south and Loita Plains in the pastoral ranches to the north-east, from July to October. Your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Embarking on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara is an incredible way to experience the diversity of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Animals such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are often more active early in the morning, and during your morning drive, you may see lions hunting. The Mara is home to over 500 bird species, and early morning is the perfect time to spot eagles, vultures, hornbills, and kites soaring through the skies. During the day, your guide will take you to explore different areas of the park, such as the Mara River, Mara Triangle, or for lion sightings. The park is vast, and a full-day game drive allows you to cover a lot of ground.
Eat breakfast at your leisure and enjoy your last glimpse of the Masai Mara as we conclude the tour into the heart of one of Africa’s most iconic and diverse ecosystems. We trust you have immersed yourself in the untamed beauty of Kenya, where vast savannahs, meandering rivers, and abundant wildlife await. Later you will transfer back to Nairobi for your departure.
