Formed nearly 60 million years ago by cooling lava, this UNESCO World Heritage site features 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that legend claims were built by the giant Finn McCool. While not a direct filming location, its otherworldly geometry perfectly captures the "Giant's Land" atmosphere that defines the rugged, mythic landscape of the Game of Thrones territory.
