Go to the corner of Belardo Road and Museum Way. Your guide will be wearing a straw hat and carrying a turquoise-colored shoulder bag. He will be in front of the Marilyn Monroe statue.

Our first stop is a hidden gem: an artful cafe with gorgeous hand-painted walls done in the happiest of colors. We'll have a delicious brunch item with a selection of coffees and teas. The super talented chef is one of Palm Springs rising stars, with a Michelin recommendation.

Stop number two is a small gourmet market where we'll artisan charcuterie and cheese boards along with generous pours of wine. There'll be time to shop, with a special discount for our group.

3Palm Springs
We'll then explore downtown Palm Springs, hearing the remarkable backstories of the colorful cast of characters who chose to live in this remote desert oasis. Our unique history includes the Agua Caliente people, the pioneers, including the strong women who led the village, the celebrities who escaped from Hollywood to relax here, as well as the architects who created our stunning Desert Modern architecture and design.

4Palm Springs
At the midpoint of the tour, our venue will be a newish, upscale Baja-inspired restaurant, with an airy and sophisticated late mid-century vibe. The Michelin recommended chef creates delicious food, with rustic handmade tortillas and richly layered, flavorful sauces.. We'll sample your choice of carefully crafted tacos (pro tip: the fish taco is ahhhh-mazing.

5Palm Springs
We'll then pop into a family-owned candy maker to sample and learn about their pure and simple process in making small batches of scrumptious candy (the secret: use only five ingredients of the highest quality). You'll have an opportunity to shop, with an exclusive discount.

6Palm Springs
Our tour will finish at a restaurant described by its owners as the 'moody sister' of their other Michelin recommended restaurant. The design is sophisticated, and the food is every bit as good as its better-known sister's. The menu offers elevated Latin and Jalisco-style Mexican cuisine. We'll sample their flights of vividly-hued craft margaritas, followed by beautifully presented dessert selections. Instagram worthy? Absolutely!
