We begin near the entrance to Pena Palace, where you’ll learn about the history and romantic vision behind this extraordinary royal retreat. On the terraces, you’ll have free time to admire the architecture, take photos, and enjoy views across the Sintra Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
We then leave the crowds behind and descend through the enchanting Pena Park, following hidden paths surrounded by exotic trees, lakes, and viewpoints, until we reach the Valley of the Lakes.
Next, we continue to the Moorish Castle, where you’ll discover Sintra’s Islamic past, the Christian Reconquista, and the strategic importance of this medieval fortress, while taking in unforgettable panoramic views.

Upon arriving at the entrance to Pena Park, the guide will meet you on the opposite side of the road, next to the benches.

After entering Pena Park, you will walk with the guide to Pena Palace, where you will have free time for photos. Afterward, you will stroll through the Pena gardens until you reach the Valley of the Lakes. Paid at the site.

2Castelo dos Mouros
After leaving Pena Park, you will walk to the Moorish Castle, which you will visit with the guide and where you can enjoy the wonderful views. Paid at the site.
