    As you journey toward Joshua Tree National Park, you’ll pass through the towns of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree, where your guide will point out local hotspots while sharing the history of these desert communities. You’ll learn how these towns came to be, from their roots in cattle ranching and mining to their evolution into vibrant destinations today. Along the way, you’ll discover places to eat or grab a drink, each with its own unique vibe—ranging from artsy and eclectic to classic Old West charm—giving you a taste of the local culture. Just a short distance away, you’ll visit Pioneertown, originally built as a movie set for Hollywood Westerns, where you’ll hear stories about its past and the antics of Wild West film stars. You’ll also hear a well-known ghost story set right in the heart of downtown Joshua Tree, adding a touch of mystery to your experience. Throughout the tour, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and explore topics that interest you most.
