Accompanied by our official guide, we will visit the Maison des Esclaves — a site of profound historical significance. In this sacred space of memory, we will walk through its rooms and stand before the iconic "Door of No Return", gaining a rigorous and sensitive understanding of the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. After this journey into the past, we will take time to enjoy the tranquility of the island with a full lunch (not included) at a selected restaurant overlooking the sea. It will be the perfect occasion to savour the authentic flavours of Senegal, such as fresh fish or the emblematic Thiéboudienne, before returning to the mainland.

3Le Monument de la Renaissance Africaine
In the afternoon, back in the capital, we will head towards the great landmarks of Senegalese modernity. The first highlight is the African Renaissance Monument, a colossal bronze structure that surpasses the Statue of Liberty in height. Here we launch a challenge to the most adventurous: climb its 198 steps to reach the top and be rewarded with the most spectacular 360° panoramic view of the entire peninsula.

4The Mosque Of The Divinity
We will continue our journey along the coast on the Corniche, with a must-stop photo opportunity at the Mosque of the Divinity, whose silhouette seems to float magically above the waves of the Atlantic.

To round off the day, we will visit the local markets to experience real life in the Senegalese capital. We will then immerse ourselves in the urban heartbeat of the city, passing through the historic Independence Square — where our headquarters is located — and explore the vibrant textile and craft markets to truly feel the pulse of local life. The day will come to a close in the most relaxed way, with a direct transfer dropping you back at your hotel entrance or at the agreed pick-up point.
