Welcome to 'A Taste of Hidden West London - By a local'!

Hello! I'm Fiona, a born and bred West 9er and chef!

I will be taking you to 6 of the best food and drinks spots we locals frequent, whilst showing you the more hidden side of West London culture. This part of London is very popular, and is no stranger to viral trends, busy streets and at points, true chaos. Together, we will avoid the mania, dip in and out of back streets, eat from legacy institutions and learn about the history of this place.

For the next couple of hours, you will become a West London local.

What's Included

We will be visiting one pub for a specific purpose. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol, you can choose a different drink within the same price bracket!
This tour includes 5 hand-picked snacks out of the 5 food establishments we'll be visiting (the 6th is a pub). I will be going in to get them all and can accommodate for veggies and pescatarians.

Meet outside the lock and lantern, on the side of the railings next to the road. Please don't block their entrance, we won't be meeting inside it!

    Famed for its iconic design and featured in album covers to film sets, Trellick Tower is an important part of London's architecture scene and culture. We'll learn more about its legacy and its roots.

    Welcome to portobello market for the locals! Golborne road is home to many legendary food hubs that most of us visit daily. We will be visiting two of them before starting our journey down Portobello Road.

    Portobello Road Market

    See portobello market in all its glory! (Please note: market days are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. If you book a tour on a different day, the market will be very quiet/not on). We'll have our third snack stop, peek into the vintage market and get acquainted with the food market.

    The Blue Door

    It wouldn't be a West London tour without taking you to the famous blue door from Notting Hill, the movie! I'll point out the other famous film locations too (there are a lot of decoys!)

    We'll then visit the colourful houses (I'll be your camera-woman!) as well as a West London born bakery for a delicious sweet treat.

    Notting Hill's best kept secret, this street is lined with bars, eateries and West London culture. We'll enjoy our last food snack among the locals before heading to our final stop.
