There's no other hike near Denver where your trail buddy is a rescue goat. At Matthews/Winters Park, you'll walk past the sparse remains of Mount Vernon, a Gold Rush ghost town, and one of Colorado's oldest cemeteries, all at whatever pace the goats feel like setting. It's fun, it's scenic, and it's for a good cause: every booking helps care for the rescued animals at Molly's Menagerie, the farm animal program of Gray Muzzle Society.
