Travel along Trail Ridge Road, one of the highest continuous paved roads in North America, with sweeping alpine views above treeline. Along the way, guests may see wildlife such as elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, marmots, and pikas.
Enjoy a short guided walk around Sprague Lake, a scenic alpine lake with panoramic mountain views. This easy 0.8-mile loop offers opportunities to spot wildlife and learn about the park’s ecology.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at Many Parks Curve, one of the most iconic overlooks in Rocky Mountain National Park. Guests can relax while taking in sweeping views of valleys, forests, and distant peaks, with excellent opportunities for photos and wildlife sightings.
Travel through the quieter western side of the park in Kawuneeche Valley, known for its wide-open landscapes and excellent wildlife viewing. This area offers chances to see moose, elk, and other wildlife before exiting the park near the Kawuneeche Visitor Center.
