Throughout the Shaolin Monastery and surrounding martial arts schools, you can watch the monks and students do their intensive exercises in fine weather. In addition, Shaolin Monastery is known as a place of training in China and the world. Novices have been shaped into masters of Chinese martial arts here for over 1,500 years now.
