The Ecolodge CUMACEBA, is located 35 kilometers from Iquitos, sailing the Amazon River Down, 1.30 hr boat trip. It has a large reception and dining room, and independent cabins with their own bathroom for sleeping. Electric light from 18 to 10 hr. We pick up all travelers from Iquitos Airport (upon arrival of your flight) or from your hotels located in the city center of Iquitos. Please provide us with your arrival or accommodation details at least 24 hours before the tour. Your guide or driver will carry a Peru Amazon Tours logo sign.

    Pick up from the airport or hotel, to take a walk in the historic center of Iquitos, knowing old buildings that come from the time of rubber or balata as; the Emblematic Iron House, Palace hotel, Cohen House, Fitzcarrald House among others. Then we will move to the jetty to board the boat and sail, the Itaya River and then the Great Amazon River, we will have a panoramic view of the bridge that crosses the Nanay River, considered the longest in Peru, linking the city with the countryside. We will continue the journey through the Amazon River Down to the Ecolodge, where you will be assigned the type of cabin requested simple, Double, triple, quadruple or double. Typical lunch. Indicated time trek through the jungle to know flora and fauna of the area, possibility to feed the monkeys squirrel and Pichicos. After dinner, canoe trip through the lagoon, where there is the possibility to observe alligators in their habitat. Night at the Lodge.

    FULL DAY BY THE BLACK RIVER - RECREATIONAL FISH

    Morning walk for the purpose of bird watching in your habitat. Breakfast. Day trip with Box Lunch on board across the NEGRO River - Yana yacu in Quechua. you will enjoy fantastic landscapes, people settled on the banks of the river, being able to interact with them, endemic birds various varieties, we will do recreational fishing with typical rods as used by jungle man, we will taste some fried piranhas or other species that can be caught instantly. we will take some time to walk through the jungle knowing flora and fauna, this excursion is ideal for photographing. Return to the Lodge at approximately 4pm to arrive and have lunch. Depending on the weather conditions you will observe a stunning sunset. Dinner. Night hike possibility to observe tarantulas , bathracians, miscellaneous insects, and hear of the typical sounds of the humid rainforest. Tales and myths of the jungle through the guide.     DOLPHINS - FUNDO PEDRITO

    Morning walk, bird watching in its habit, observation of the jungle sunrise, search for iguanas and birds across the riverbank. Breakfast... Search for grey and pink river dolphins, return to the Ecolodge and typical lunch. Return to the city of Iquitos, along the way we will have our last visit to the FUNDO PEDRITO where the largest freshwater fish is raised the PAICHE, or arapaima gigas, also alligators and the largest aquatic plant on the planet, VICTORIA REGIA.
