The Fort of Paimogo is a small coastal fort near Lourinhã, on Portugal’s Silver Coast. Built in the 17th century as part of a defensive network against pirate attacks and invasions, the fort overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from a dramatic cliffside location. Its strategic position helped protect the coastline and nearby fishing communities.
