Start the morning with a game drive in Nairobi National Park, one of the few national parks in the world located inside a capital city. The park offers open savannah landscapes where lions, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras move freely, all set against the unusual backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline. This early drive is the best time to spot predators returning from night hunts and herbivores actively feeding before the day heats up. The experience feels distinctive because wildlife and city life exist side by side without visual separation in most areas of the park.

Day 2
Transfer to Amboseli

After breakfast, you depart by road for Amboseli National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through Kenya’s countryside, passing rural settlements, farmlands, and wide savannah plains as the landscape gradually becomes drier and more open. On arrival, you check in at your lodge or camp, often positioned with sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. After lunch and a short rest, you set out for an afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s vast wetlands and grasslands. The game drive continues into the evening before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Nairobi in the morning for Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and rolling highlands en route. On arrival, check in at a luxury lodge in the Sekenani area near the park entrance and have lunch or a short rest. In the afternoon, proceed for your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, entering one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves. The game drive continues into the evening, offering extended wildlife viewing as animals become more active in the cooler hours. After sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Watamu. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your beach resort along the stunning Kenyan coastline. Watamu Bay is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beach destinations on the northern coast, known for its soft white sands, turquoise waters, palm-lined shores, and lush coastal forest blending into the Indian Ocean. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the beach.

Full day in Watamu

A full day in paradise along Kenya’s coast. Optional activities include snorkeling in coral gardens, dolphin watching, or a traditional dhow sailing experience within the protected Watamu Marine National Park, home to vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life. The rest of the day is left at leisure, ideal for beach walks, swimming, or relaxing by the ocean.

Return to Nairobi
