Island Breeze eBikes is located at the corner of Rabbit Road and Sanibel-Captiva Road, in Suite 6B of the Rosalita's Plaza.

What to expect

Show up at our Sanibel shop and you're on the road in minutes — no separate check-in line, no paperwork beyond a quick waiver.

We'll fit your bike to you on the spot and walk you through the controls before you head out: how to shift the assist level up or down, and how to switch between the Shibori Cruiser's single-speed setup and the Townie Go!'s 8-speed if that's your model. Tell us how much time you've got and we'll point you to a route that suits — a quick loop through the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge if you're short on time, or a full day covering the Wild Mile and the beaches if you've booked the Daytripper.

Pickup times are flexible within your rental's window: 2-hour rentals can start anytime between 9:00am and 3:00pm, 4-hour rentals between 9:00am and 1:00pm, and Daytripper rentals between 9:00am and 5:00pm. When your time's up, just roll the bikes back to the shop and you're all set.

  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Riders must be 18 or older, between 4'11" and 6'5" in height, and 275 lbs or under.
  • Class 1 eBikes are pedal-assist only — the motor engages when you pedal, disengages when you stop.
