Valpolicella is one of Italy's most celebrated wine regions, home of Amarone, Ripasso and Recioto. Yet most of its small, family-run wineries remain hidden from the average tourist and that's exactly where we're going.
Your experience begins when I pick you up from your accommodation (or meet you at an agreed point) and take you into the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Along the way, I'll share the stories of its terraced vineyards, its villages, its centuries-old winemaking tradition.
At the winery, you'll be welcomed by the people who actually make the wine. No crowded tasting rooms, no rehearsed scripts, just an authentic encounter with a small producer who is passionate about their craft. You'll taste their wines, learn about the production process, and understand what makes Valpolicella so special.
The experience lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours and is conducted in English and Italian. Groups are kept small by design — because the best conversations happen around a small table.
I will contact you within 24 hours of booking to confirm your exact pickup address and details. Pickup is available within the Valpolicella and Greater Verona area. For accommodations outside this area, please contact us before booking.
During your Incontro in Valpolicella, your local guide will take you through the terraced vineyards and villages of Valpolicella Classica. You will visit a carefully selected small winery, meet the producers, and taste their wines — Amarone, Ripasso or Recioto, depending on the season and your group's preferences. Each experience is tailored to the people who share it.
