What to expect

Your experience begins with a guided viewing of the bonsai throughout the garden, with the master's commentary on each tree. Using authentic bonsai tools, you'll then get hands-on instruction in real bonsai care — pruning, wiring to shape the tree's form, and repotting to match the right container. To finish, your bonsai is placed on a display stand and arranged with a hanging scroll, viewing stone, and accent plant (kusamono) to create a traditional formal display.
