What to expect
On the day of your Madeira hiker transfer, your private driver will be waiting at the Achada do Teixeira parking area at your selected pick-up time. You'll travel directly to Pico do Arieiro in a comfortable private SUV, suited for Madeira's high-altitude mountain roads. The transfer is direct, takes approximately 1 hour, and is exclusively for your group. Once at Pico do Arieiro, you're dropped off at the PR1 trailhead — whether you're starting or finishing your hike.
