Create your own edible masterpiece as you paint Seattle's iconic Mount Rainier on your personal-sized Asian chiffon cake!
Enjoy a calm, creative, and delicious experience just 10 minutes away from downtown Seattle. Seattle artist and Culinary Institute of America-trained baker Chef Cindy Yuong will guide you as you learn to paint a Mount Rainier landscape on a cake. You'll start by making smooth buttercream edible "paint" and color your frosting like an artist, blending into soft, natural hues. Then you'll create your landscape "painting" on a pre-frosted Asian chiffon cake using palette knives, offset spatulas, and piping techniques. You'll also learn to create a visually layered strawberry calpico soda or strawberry matcha latte drink, balancing densities for a beautifully separated beverage.
Best of all, you'll take home your own edible souvenir, new cake decorating skills, and your own layered drink. No baking, painting, or art experience is required to attend this workshop!
