Experience the beauty of Heidelberg on a small-group guided tour that combines culture, history and breathtaking views. Start with a ride up the Königstuhl, where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Neckar Valley. Ride the historic mountain railway and visit the impressive Heidelberg Castle. After a lunch break, we start our guided tour of the historic old town. Strolling through the cobblestone streets, you can feel the lively flair of this traditional university town. The trail leads past baroque townhouses, cosy cafes and historic buildings. Unpacked : Church of the Holy Spirit, Old Bridge, Stables of the Armed Forces and more... We end the day on the Philosopher's Trail with a glass of Palatinate wine in hand and a magnificent view of the city.

Arriving at an altitude of 568 metres, you escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The Heidelberger Hausberg offers breathtaking views over the Neckar valley, the Rhine plain and sometimes even up to the Vosges mountains in good weather.

The Heidelberg cable car is an attraction in itself. The upper, nostalgic track takes us to the whey cure in a slow, steep ride. From there, the lower cable car, one of the most modern funiculars in Germany, takes you to the castle in a few minutes.

You will end the day on the opposite side of the Neckar, where you will embark on the famous Philosopher's Trail. This climatically favoured panoramic path owes its name to the Heidelberg scholars who once walked here. From here you can enjoy the classic postcard view : the deep blue ribbon of the Neckar, the Old Bridge and the castle that shines in the sunlight - with a glass of Palatinate wine you say goodbye to Heidelberg.
