Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and captivates visitors from all over the world. The unique location in the Neckar Valley, the historic old town, and the majestic castle ruin form a backdrop that already inspired the poets of Romanticism.
This premium tour in a small group starts at Karlsplatz. We start the day - after a short drive in the van - with the magnificent panorama from the Königstuhl mountain, enjoy the ride with the historic mountain railway to the castle, and immerse ourselves there in the historic Unpacked of the Middle Ages. Listen to romantic and entertaining legends and admire the imposing complex.
We will then take an interesting tour down to the old town and visit, among others, the Heiliggeistkirche, the Jesuit Church, the market square, and the Old Bridge. Here your tour ends with many new impressions.

1Konigstuhl
We start the day with a comfortable ride in a van up to the Königstuhl. Arriving at an altitude of 568 metres, you escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The Heidelberger Hausberg offers breathtaking views over the Neckar valley, the Rhine plain and sometimes even up to the Vosges mountains in good weather.

The Heidelberg cable car is an attraction in itself. The upper, nostalgic track takes us to the whey cure in a slow, steep ride. From there, the lower cable car, one of the most modern funiculars in Germany, takes you to the castle in a few minutes.

3Schloss Heidelberg
Heidelberg Castle, the epitome of German Romanticism, towers majestically over the city. A tour of the inner courtyard and the castle garden reveals the eventful history of the former residence of the Electors of the Palatinate. Within the castle walls, there are two Unpacked : the entrance to the cellar, which houses the legendary Great Barrel, is located in the Royal Hall building. This world's largest fillable wine barrel was made from 130 oak logs in the 18th century and holds over 219,000 litres of wine. Directly afterwards, the German Pharmacy Museum invites you to travel through time. The exhibits offer fascinating insights into the history of medicine from antiquity to the 21st century.
