Cahuita Night Jungle Walk – Nocturnal Wildlife Experience

During the Cahuita Jungle Night Walk, travelers will experience the rainforest after dark, when a completely different side of nature comes alive. With the help of a local guide and provided flashlights, guests will slowly explore the natural areas and trails around Wildlife Lodge Cahuita, looking for nocturnal wildlife such as frogs, insects, spiders, reptiles, sleeping birds, and sometimes small mammals.

This is a relaxed and educational walk focused on observation, photography, and interpretation. Along the way, the guide will explain how animals use camouflage, sounds, movement, and behavior to survive at night. Guests will also learn about the importance of these species in the tropical ecosystem and how to observe wildlife respectfully without disturbing its natural environment.
