DAY 1: Tarangire national Park You’ll need to organise their own flights to lake manyara Airport . we will arrange a private transfer to your hotel in Mto wa Mbu. That night or early the next morning you will meet your local representative and have a full briefing. You will be met by your private guide and vehicle and driven to Tarangire National Park, arriving with plenty of time for an afternoon game-drive. The Tarangire River runs through the park attracting a huge number of elephants, buffalo, giraffe and antelope, particularly in the dry season between June and October. It is not uncommon to see large herds of elephants roaming through Tarangire’s savannah grasses or taking shade under the odd looking “upside down trees” (baobab) that are dotted around the park. The park also boasts over 550 different bird species, the most diverse in Africa, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest flying bird in the World!
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant & baobab trees also explore Big 5 animals. The Tarangire After the game drive, then drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for flight
After breakfast, depart for a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai Village, where you will experience the rich heritage of the Maasai people. Learn about their customs and daily way of life, visit a traditional boma (homestead), enjoy the famous Maasai warrior jumping dance, and explore handmade crafts and beadwork. After the visit, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Following lunch, check out of the lodge and begin your transfer to Lake manyara Airport for your onward flight, bringing your unforgettable Tanzania safari to an end.
