Experience the beauty of an Arctic sunset on a small-group kayaking tour in Lofoten led by experienced local guides. Paddle through calm waters near the famous Haukland area, surrounded by white sand beaches and dramatic mountain peaks as the evening sky fills with warm orange and pink colors. With a maximum of 6 participants per guide, this beginner-friendly experience offers a peaceful, personal, and authentic way to explore one of Lofoten’s most iconic coastal landscapes away from the crowds. We meet at Vågaveien 37. Our base is a red boathouse with an Epic Lofoten sign.
What to expect
We launch from the shoreline and paddle along the coastline near Haukland, surrounded by white sand beaches, turquoise Arctic waters, and the dramatic mountains of Mannen and Veggen. As the sun begins to lower toward the horizon, the evening light creates beautiful reflections and warm colors across the sea and surrounding landscape.
During the tour, we paddle at a relaxed pace with time for short stops, photos, and quiet moments on the water. Along the way, your guide shares stories about local nature, wildlife, history, and everyday life in Lofoten while you experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Arctic evening.
This small-group experience is designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and personal atmosphere on the water. After enjoying the sunset light from the kayak, we paddle back to the starting point where the activity ends. Photos from the tour are included.
