What to expect

Guests will be welcomed into my home kitchen for a warm and hands-on Indian cooking experience. The class begins with homemade Indian chai while we discuss the spices, ingredients, and traditional techniques used in Indian home cooking.

Together, guests will learn how to prepare authentic Indian chicken curry completely from scratch using fresh ingredients, onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, and hand-ground spices. I will guide guests step by step through the cooking process, explaining how to layer flavors and properly cook with Indian spices without using pre-made sauces or mixes.

Guests will also learn how to make fresh rotis by hand, including preparing the dough, rolling the rotis, and cooking them on the stovetop.

After cooking, everyone will sit down together to enjoy the freshly prepared meal in a relaxed family-style setting while sharing conversation and stories about Indian culture and food traditions.
