Offered in: English

Get the best of Lagos without the crowds or heat. This is where your first day in Lagos should start – with not just a history walk but with a taste of Lagos itself.

Hi, I'm Gwen. After coming to Lagos for over 30 years, I now call Lagos home, and I’ll guide you on this intimate, 2.5-hour morning walking experience designed for curious travelers 18+ who want to go beyond the beaches and discover what truly makes Lagos and the Algarve special.

You’ll go from sweeping Algarve coastline views into the cobblestone streets of Lagos' Old Town, discovering how Lagos helped shape Portugal's history - from its Roman and Moorish roots, to the Age of Discovery and 1755 earthquake and tsunami, to today's culture.

Along the way, savor 3 tastings of locally-sourced, authentic, homemade Lagos and Algarve specialties, including a famous Lagos sweet with medronho pairing most tours skip.

Shop local Algarve products to take with you, along with insider dining, hidden gems, and best of Lagos tips.
