You’ll go from sweeping Algarve coastline views into the cobblestone streets of Lagos' Old Town, discovering how Lagos helped shape Portugal's history - from its Roman and Moorish roots, to the Age of Discovery and 1755 earthquake and tsunami, to today's culture.
Along the way, savor 3 tastings of locally-sourced, authentic, homemade Lagos and Algarve specialties, including a famous Lagos sweet with medronho pairing most tours skip.

We will meet at the Statue of Saint Gonçalo on the Miradouro Praia da Batata above Praia da Batata providing scenic views of Lagos and the Algarve coastline. Look for your tour guide, Gwen, wearing a red or white visor. Please arrive 10 minutes early as the tour begins promptly at 9:00 AM.
