Lebaiskari Tower is an old stone tower situated in the mountainous Khevsureti area of Georgia, close to Shatili. In the past, it played an important role in protecting local residents, serving both as a lookout point and a safe shelter during enemy attacks. This tower was built by a Kist prisoner for the people of Khevsureti. In return, the Khevsurs granted him freedom and allowed him to return to his homeland.

According to local history, people suffering from the plague came here voluntarily to prevent the disease from spreading to their communities. Today, the site remains one of the most unique and atmospheric landmarks in the region, combining dramatic mountain scenery with a powerful connection to Georgia’s past.
