Pickup details:

Pickup from all beaches and resorts in the Gulf of Papagayo is included, including Hotel Riu Guanacaste and Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica.

We pick up guests directly by boat on the beach near or in front of their hotel or resort for a convenient and personalized experience.

When you arrive at the park in Playas del Coco, look for the hand statue making the peace/victory sign. From there, facing the ocean, walk 100 meters to the right until you reach a small pier, your crew will be waiting for you.

    Gulf of Papagayo

    As soon as you board your boat for your Gulf of Papagayo experience, your captain will provide a detailed safety and tour briefing explaining the activities planned for the day. Whether you booked a fishing tour, snorkeling adventure, or sunset cruise, the captain will explain the itinerary, safety procedures, and what to expect during the experience. For fishing tours, we normally head directly to the fishing grounds, (20 minutes from the pick up point), prepare the bait, and begin the fishing experience. For snorkeling tours, we usually begin at Playa Jícaro, where guests often have the opportunity to swim near sea turtles and explore a nearby reef area. Guests may also visit beaches with local wildlife, including monkeys, the caves at Playa Huevos, the Palmares mangroves, and a second snorkeling location at Playa Nacascolito. Tour routes may change depending on weather, tides, and ocean conditions.
