Discover a different side of the Peloponnese through a unique combination of horseback riding and free time at one of the region's most beautiful beaches.
Instead of simply visiting the area, you will explore endless sandy beaches and peaceful pine forests on horseback. We welcome only small groups, allowing us to give each guest personal attention while creating a friendly atmosphere.
After your ride, we will take you to Kourouta Beach, one of the area's most beautiful sandy beaches, known for its crystal-clear blu waters. Here, you will have free time to swim, relax, or enjoy a meal.
Along the beachfront, you will find traditional Greek tavernas serving delicious local cuisine, as well as charming cafés where you can enjoy a drink while taking in the sea views. If you would like to use a sunbed and umbrella, many beach bars provide them free of charge with the purchase of a drink or snack.
When you arrive, we will be happy to recommend some of our favorite tavernas and cafés.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
After you leave the ship and pass the security gate, you will find us waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it.
What to expect
On arrival, you will be introduced to your horse, receive simple instructions on how to control and ride it safely, and have time to prepare for the ride (approximately 15 minutes).
Your guided horseback ride lasts around one hour and takes you through peaceful pine forests and along the beautiful sandy beach. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you may also upgrade your experience with our Sea Ride Upgrade and ride your horse into the sea with a guide.
After the ride, allow around 10 minutes to dismount and relax before departing.
Next, your driver will take you to Kourouta Beach (approximately 10 minutes), where you will enjoy around 2.5 hours of free time. Relax on the beach, swim in the crystal-clear Ionian Sea, or enjoy lunch or a coffee at one of the delicious local tavernas or beachfront cafés.
Finally, you will return to Katakolo Port (approximately 25 minutes), arriving with plenty of time before your cruise ship's departure.
