Escape the tourist trail and discover authentic Newari cuisine in the historic town of Panauti, just 1.5 Hours from Kathmandu. Your experience begins with a hotel pickup and scenic drive to a traditional family home, where you’ll join a hands-on cooking class led by locals.

Learn to prepare iconic Newari dishes like Chatamari, Bara, Yomari, and Chhoila, with optional dal bhat and local meat curry. More than just cooking, you’ll discover the cultural stories, festival traditions, and unique spices behind every dish.

After enjoying the meal together, explore Panauti’s ancient temples, stone-paved alleys, and rich heritage on a guided village walk. You can also extend the journey to Namobuddha Monastery for panoramic Himalayan views. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
