This Welcome Tour is designed for travellers who just arrived and want to get their bearings in the city before exploring on their own. Over the course of your two and half hour relaxed tour, your local guide will walk you through the heart of Prague, share the stories behind its most iconic landmarks, and give you practical tips for the rest of your stay.
Starting in Old Town Square — the historic heart of Prague — the tour takes in the Astronomical Clock, the Estates Theatre, Wenceslas Square, the Jewish Quarter, and finishes in front of the Rudolfinum. Along the way, every guide brings their own favourite stories, local insights, and hidden details, meaning no two tours are ever exactly the same.
The meeting point is directly opposite the huge, green memorial to Jan Hus. Your guide will have a dark blue flag with a white skyline and crescent horizon.
We finish the tour outside the Rudolfinum.
The locations you visit will very much depend on the guide. Each guide has their favourite landmarks - but, usually we will cover the Old Town, the New town and the Jewish area(Josefov).
These are the areas we cover and will point out various significant landmarks.
Josefov is the name for the Jewish area - named after the Austrian emperor Joseph II. The area has a number of synagogues. The Jewish community has played a large role in the history and development of Prague.
