Receive step-by-step guidance from start to finish as you learn the fundamentals of ocean awareness, paddling, and wave riding. Each session is tailored to your individual pace, helping you build comfort and confidence in the water naturally.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We’ll meet at Zuma Beach near the main parking lot and lifeguard towers. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for parking and equipment setup.
What to expect
Meet at Zuma Beach
Guests will meet at Zuma Beach in Malibu, where we’ll begin with a brief introduction and overview of the day’s ocean conditions.
Learn Surf Fundamentals on the Beach
Before entering the water, guests will receive personalized instruction covering:
Ocean awareness and surf safety
Wave timing and positioning
Proper paddling technique
How to stand up on the board correctly
This portion is designed to help guests feel comfortable and confident before moving into the ocean.
Hands-On Coaching in the Water
Once in the water, guests will receive guided coaching focused on:
Catching waves safely
Improving balance and positioning
Building confidence in the ocean
Developing proper surfing technique in real time
Each session is paced according to the guest’s experience level and comfort in the water.
Experience Malibu’s Iconic Coastline
