  • Chongqing Theater (Pass by)

Chongqing Theater is located on the bank of Jiangbeizui, facing Yuzhong Peninsula across the river. Inspired by the design concept of "a solitary sail fading into the distance", it resembles a giant glass ship moored by the river. The entire building is covered with an irregular light - green glass curtain wall, which is composed of scattered geometric blocks. During the day, it is transparent, reflecting the shimmering waves of the two rivers. At night, when all the lights are on, it sparkles brightly. As the top - tier art landmark in Chongqing, it mainly stages operas, concerts and dramas. When viewed from a cruise ship in the distance, it echoes the lights of Hongya Cave on the opposite bank across the river, forming a classic riverside view of the mountain city.
