What to expect

Start your life as a certified diver with Lionfish Scuba’s Open Water Diver course. This 2- to 3-day program is your gateway to the aquatic universe, designed to teach you the skills and knowledge needed to explore the ocean safely and independently. Your training starts with theory at your own pace using e-learning, followed by a practice session in confined waters to master the team. The real magic happens in Tayrona Park, where we will do 4 training dives on legendary reefs like those on Needle Island. When choosing Lionfish Scuba, you choose the maximum comfort: we sail directly from the Santa Marta International Navy, avoiding heavy transfers on public beaches. Under the guidance of expert and small group NAUI instructors, we ensure personalized learning. Upon completion, you will receive your international license valid for life.
