What to expect
We meet at Gotanda Station. We’ll take a short, 10-minute walk through the iconic, buzzing side streets lined with red lanterns. I’ll share quick insights into the history of this unique business and nightlife district, and tips on Japanese drinking etiquette.
• 10 - 30 mins: Setting the Stage & Perfect Order
We step into a deep, authentic, non-touristy Izakaya. I will secure our seats and handle the flawless first order of underground local favorites and drinks based on your preferences.
• 30 - 60 mins: Cheers & The Handover
We toast! While you enjoy the initial dishes, I will briefly teach you a few magical Japanese phrases for your next orders and how to ask for the bill. At the 60-minute mark, I’ll leave you to enjoy the rest of your authentic night privately at your own pace.
