    Jotunheimen National Park

    The tour takes us through typical grazing areas for domesticated reindeer in Jotunheimen. Partly along trails, leading to lovely grasslands and some rugged terrain. When we spot reindeer, we take the time observing the animals from a distance and learn how humans have depended on reindeer for thousands of years – right up to today, where the last wild reindeer population is under significant pressure. Watching and moving alongside these graceful creatures in their domain creates a special connection to the past, as well as an understanding of sustainable food production from mountain resources today.
