Please arrive 30 minutes before departure to allow time to find parking and get to the meeting point. The boat will meet you in the red loading zone at the base of ramp 2 shortly before departure. Ramp 2 is located just before the Salty Dawg Saloon Lighthouse when heading out the Homer Spit Rd
The Marine Wildlife Tour is by far our most popular tour. A one sentence summary of the tour could be "We look at cute Sea Otters, awesome puffins and other cool stuff in a beautiful place" Our Marine Nature and Wildlife Tour departs Homer Harbor and crosses Kachemak Bay. Your naturalist guide will provide insights into the natural history and ecology of this unique critical habitat area. Every tour is different but tour favorites include glacier views, humpback whales, extended viewing of sea otters and puffins, and a stop at the Gull Island Seabird Rookery with 15,000+ nesting seabirds.
