Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, known for its unique walking path that allows visitors to go behind the falling water. Dropping from a height of around 60 meters, it offers stunning views from every angle and is especially beautiful during sunset when the light creates a magical atmosphere around the waterfall.
Gljufrabui is a hidden gem located just a short walk from Seljalandsfoss. Partially concealed inside a narrow canyon, this waterfall offers a more adventurous experience as visitors step carefully into the rocky opening to discover a powerful and secluded cascade surrounded by moss-covered cliffs.
Skogafoss is one of Iceland’s largest and most impressive waterfalls, with a powerful drop of 60 meters and a width of 25 meters. On sunny days, visitors often see beautiful rainbows forming in the mist, and a staircase beside the waterfall leads to an observation platform with panoramic views of the South Coast.
Reynisfjara is a world-famous black sand beach known for its dramatic basalt columns, powerful Atlantic waves, and striking sea stacks known as Reynisdrangar. The beach offers a surreal and unforgettable landscape, showcasing the raw beauty and power of Iceland’s volcanic coastline.
Before beginning the return journey, guests will stop in the charming village of Vík, Iceland’s southernmost mainland village. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, black sand beaches, and ocean views, Vík offers an opportunity to explore the village, browse local shops, enjoy refreshments, and experience everyday life in one of Iceland’s most picturesque coastal communities. If time allows, a visit will be made to the iconic hilltop church overlooking Vík.
