More than a visit to the Basilica, this is a complete experience. It includes an explanation of the Guadalupano Code, the blessing of the father, the tour of the entire Tepeyac complex and access to the Museum of the Basilica of Guadalupe, benefits that few tours offer.
You will meet your tour host at the foot of the statue of John Paul ll. This statue is located between the old basilica and the new basilica of Guadeloupe.
Discover the history, symbolism and faith surrounding America’s most important Marian sanctuary. We will begin with an explanation of the Guadalupano Code and the message contained in the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, followed by the blessing of the father. Afterwards, we will enter the New Basilica to contemplate the original tilma of San Juan Diego and continue to the Old Basilica. We will tour the complex visiting the Fountain of the Miracle and the Garden of Christ the King, from where we will ascend to the Tepeyac Hill to know the Chapel of the Cerrito, site of the third appearance of the Virgin. During the descent we will appreciate the Tepeyac Gardens and the space dedicated to Quetzalcoatl, then visit the Chapel of the Little One, associated with the second appearance, and finish in the Chapel of Indians, where the first temples built in this enclosure and the site related to the first appearance of the Virgin of Guadalupe are located.
At the end of your tour our tour host will give you tickets to enter the museum and you can explore and tour it at your own pace, without rush.
