Here's what to expect: arrive at the launch, check in with your friendly local guide, and get fitted with everything you need — paddle, life vest, and your choice of crystal-clear kayak, sit-on-top kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. After a quick orientation with route tips and the latest wildlife sightings, you'll push off onto the Rainbow River, where the water is so clear it feels like floating on air. Over the next three hours, paddle at your own pace past swaying eel grass, white sand bottoms, and bubbling spring vents. Watch for turtles sunning on logs, otters playing along the banks, and fish darting beneath you. Pull off at a sandy shallow to wade or snorkel in the refreshing 72-degree water, explore a shaded side creek, or simply drift and take it all in. When your time's up, return to the launch where we'll be waiting to help you out of the water and hear about everything you saw.
